America’s Great Road Trips Review: The first three discs are identical to the America’s Most Senic Drives discs minus the America the Beautiful bonus disc. The last three discs are from a series called Road Trips. These are extremely good, and very informative. The full price of purchase is worth these three disks alone. Furthermore, I don’t regret getting America’s Most Senic Drives as the bonus disk makes it worth while. I may not regret it, but you might.
America’s Great Road Trips Review: The “America’s Great Road Trips and Scenic Drives” sounded like it had potential. I didn’t expect a lot of time to be spent at each stop because there were so many places of interest listed, but I did expect great photography and it wasn’t. They tried to make the southwest look as green as the northeast. The rest of the country covered was green, green, green. The over saturation of colors was sometimes nauseating. It completely ruined the visual enjoyment, greens, blues, reds, oranges, purples, etc. were too intense. I live in the southwest and love the subtly of the natural earthan colors. Besides the poor photography the narrator seemed to be frantically searching through a thesarus for desciptive words.

Live Your Road Trip Dream Travel for a year for the cost of staying home is an excellent how to book. Topics include: what type of trip to plan, budget setting, what to do with everything at home including the home, road and other emergencies and how to stay in touch. The second half of the book give you a brief journal of the Whites’ personal trip to give you the feel of what it will be like out there.
Looking at the cover, you know what expect inside. It is well thought out and informative. Once you open the book, the subject matter is broken down into small digestible chunks of information in a logical order. References are made to other books and websites that are helpful in the planning process. The Appendixes range from budget planning to checklists to inventory lists that make planning your trip a breeze. Chock full of useful advice and tips from cover to cover with antidotes of things that the White’s experienced, help the reader understand what all is involved in taking a trip of this magnitude.

Sevylor Trail Boat
Sevylor Trail Boat Review: I’ve used this boat just once, which was enough to report significant strengths and weaknesses. This boat allowed me to reach an area that I would not otherwise have been able to get to. The raft is very light and compact. My inflatable kayak would have been much to heavy and cumbersome to carry across tussocks and wet ground. The inflation bag worked much better than I expected. It took 10 to 15 minutes to inflate the boat. I paddled across 30 feet of dead calm water ladened with dead sticks and trees (beaver at work). No punctures, thank goodness, although the lightweight material of the raft inspired great caution.
The ride was comfortable, but at 5′2″ my feet didn’t fit in the raft. Also there was zero room for gear, except what I put on my lap. The real problem came when I tried to disembark. To exit I swung my feet out and tried to stand up. As my legs pushed the raft down, water poured in soaking my pants, in spite of the hip waders I was wearing. Wet pants in fall weather are a bummer, especially when dry ones are hours away. This is a fun little boat for crossing small bodies of mild-mannered water. Just don’t count on being dry when you get there.

American Hustle is a meshing of a cinematic intro with the side-splitting comedy of Katt Williams and company. The feature starts with Katt getting ready for a important Hollywood meeting to discuss movie possibilities starring the up-and-coming superstar. He ultimately passes on the ridiculous movie pitches and ventures out back on the road with fellow comics Red, Luenell, and Melanie Camacho. The four comics and Katt’s dog hit the road for 20-city, 40-show tour that eventually culminates to the final show in Chicago. And it is at this point that viewers are treated to the feature-length concert footage of Katt Williams. The DVD closes with Katt Williams sharing the stage and the mic with Chi-Town’s own Da Brat and everybody’s favorite honorary pimp Snoop Dogg.

Garmin eTrex Handheld GPS Receiver Review: I’ve seen lots of reviews that say it doesnt work under trees, which is true but if you stand still for about 30 seconds it will get the signal back. It isnt great at getting a signal while moving but standing still it works alot better, even upstairs in my house. It usually says the accuracy is around 25 to 50 feet but on a clear day it had 12 bars and it said accuracy 14 or 13 feet, again the accuracy goes up if you stand still, but in the car it doesnt really go beyond 40 feet. Put it in the back or the front window of a car and it will work fine, and usually if it isnt lying around in some window it will work too. It doesnt work very well in small streets and sometimes not at all, but it works in most streets and says its accurate to about 65 feet then. Putting it in your pocket will also affect the signal.

eleased in ‘08 is another slick Walt Disney Production that offers its audience 83 minutes of amusing and harmless, albeit mindless family entertainment that any self respecting adult should not be watching unless in the presence of a child under the age of 10. The scenarios are predictable and unoriginal and yet there’s still enough magic in the old Disney vault to somehow make it work nonetheless.
I hate to say it but in my opinion the best sequences in the film revolve around the life-sized grinning Cheshire cat better known as Donny Osmond. His totally insane, off-the-wall performance was so far out there that it added a surreal atmosphere to an otherwise ordinary storyline. Watch this one with a room filled with children. At least you’ll enjoy seeing them have a good time even if you don’t.

Eurotrip Review: This is the dumbest, 
most predictable, horrible waste of time i’ve ever ever seen. This movie tried very very hard to be funny and simply wasn’t. It took a pretty good idea and butchered it by cliche jokes and feel good high school humor that’s supposed to encourage all of us angsty youngings to go to europe, drink, and copulate with any random gorgious blonde that happens to walk past us. After watching this movie I felt incredible stupid and regret being apart of a culture that could make such main stream trash. my only hope is that our european friends didn’t seen this for it would most certainly cause an international incident.

Frane’s Fantastic Boat Ride Review: Like many others, I have stopped buying half sets at ridiculous prices. For just a few dollars more than this HALF set I can get a whole season of dallas. I am thrilled that you guys do not have to choose between a full tank of gas. I may be abused by the oil companies, but I will not be abused by paramount.

Frane’s Fantastic Boat Ride Review: I’m at club Lush on Sunset in L.A. supporting some of my homegirl’s friends throwing a party. I am not from out here. Hip Hoppers where I’m from are usually black. This party was full of yuppies and a white guy with dreads was the DJ. I almost want to go find him and pay him. This is some of the trippiest hip hop I have ever heard. I cannot explain it, you just have to go and hear the samples. This is something you smoke to, drink to, or think to. I prefer the latter. His music inspires me to write my emotions into my book of poetry. No lie. I was utterly shocked at this man’s work.
Frane’s Fantastic Boat Ride Review: This is an amazing album, and I can’t figure out why there is not more information about it or him. Regardless this is one of the my favorite albums of all time, and that is not a designation i throw around lightly. Although it is almost entirely instrumental I feel a hip-hop vibe from this album. It is perfect for any occasion and is rightfully sub-titled “beats to blaze to.” In any case this is definately one well worth every penny, and i give it my full backing and reccomendation.
